| For Members Only. Walking along a trail or standing in one place watching what passes provides a view to an integrated ecosystem, the adaptations of organisms that specialize them for a particular habitat, and the interactions of organisms as they define and defend territories, select mates and acquire food. A single hour, a single day, or a single year is not sufficient to understand even a small fraction of the dynamics occurring in even a small pond. The following subjects are proposed to be a collection of observations collected over time, temporally and geographically arranged, as a photo journal of virtual field trips. |
