| Activities |
| Participate in local field trips and photography workshops in the Santa Barbara area, enroll in field classes supported by Saturdaze, participate in fun research projects with family, friends and children. In order to encourage participation in natural history education, Saturdaze will refund or offer reduced fees for subscribers who enroll and complete selected classes, workshops and events offered at local institutions. |

Biology of Birds
Saturdaze subscribers will have all fees refunded when they enroll and complete the Santa Barbara City College Biology of Birds (Zoology 138) field class led by Krista Fahy, Associate Curator of Vertebrate Zoology, Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Biology of Birds is a 1.5 unit field course with eight Saturday field trips and behind-the-scenes lessons at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History emphasizing birds of the Santa Barbara area. Field trips will include wetlands, coastal, canyon and forested areas and are timed with the migratory patterns of birds. Photography Workshops
Learn photography, hone skills, practice new techniques using our equipment (digital or film) or your equipment on field trips to local areas. Some field classes are designed as workshops for the complete novice, others for advanced photographers who simply want to share experiences and techniques in the field.
